Implementing the GDPR within an organization cannot be done as a set of processes independent of those that handle information security. Many companies have implemented an information security governance framework based on ISO 27001; this governance framework can be leveraged to formally support all processes that handle personal data that must be protected. This talk aims to present some common elements between the two regulations to facilitate the integration and compliance with both.
