Offensive Technical Assessment

Red Team &
Adversarial Simulation

Large-scale simulation exercises of real adversaries. The best way to measure an organization's real detection and response capability is to subject it to a controlled but realistic attack.

Red Team
Complete adversary simulation sustained over time
APT Simulation
Emulation of advanced persistent threats
Purple Team
Collaborative Red + Blue Team exercises
Ransomware simulation
Assessment of defenses against ransomware attacks
TIBER-EU
European cyber resilience testing framework
The focus

The most realistic measure of your defenses

A Red Team is not an extended penetration test. It is the sustained simulation of a real adversary —using the tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs) that current threat groups use— whose goal is to assess whether the organization can detect, contain and respond to an attack before it causes damage.

Unlike traditional penetration testing, which provides a snapshot of the state of systems at a given moment, a Red Team makes it possible to observe how people, processes and technology respond under real pressure.

Adversarial simulation

Exercise types

Full Red Team
Complete exercise with defined business objectives (exfiltrating specific data, compromising a critical system) without prior knowledge by the Blue Team. Typical duration: 4–12 weeks.
Assumed Breach
The Red Team starts with initial access already established (simulating that the adversary is already inside) and assesses lateral detection and containment capability.
Purple Team
Collaborative exercise in which Red and Blue Teams work together to identify detection gaps and improve defensive capabilities in real time.
Ransomware simulation
Specific assessment of detection and response capability against a ransomware attack, including the pre-encryption phases.
TIBER-EU
European cyber resilience testing framework based on threat intelligence, designed for critical financial infrastructures.
Methodology

How we work

01Scope and objectives definition
Agreement on the exercise objectives, systems in scope, rules of engagement and success criteria.
02Reconnaissance and intelligence
OSINT and passive reconnaissance of the target organization. Identification of potential entry vectors.
03Initial access
Exploitation of the identified vectors to gain an initial foothold in the target environment.
04Lateral movement and persistence
Expansion within the environment, privilege escalation and establishment of persistence —while assessing whether the Blue Team detects the activity.
05Achievement of objectives and report
Reaching the defined objectives, documentation of the path followed and debriefing with both teams.

Service scope

What this service covers

Complete adversary simulation exercise with business objectives. No prior knowledge by the Blue Team.

Assumed Breach

Assessment of detection and containment starting from already established initial access.

Purple Team

Collaborative Red + Blue exercises to identify detection gaps and improve defensive capabilities.

Ransomware simulation

Assessment of defenses specifically against ransomware attacks, reconnaissance and pre-encryption phase.

Frequently Asked Questions

We answer your questions

What is the difference between a Penetration Test and a Red Team Exercise?

A Penetration Test focuses on identifying the greatest number of technical vulnerabilities within a defined scope and a short period. A Red Team exercise simulates a real adversary (APT) that combines multiple attack vectors over an extended period, evaluating not only the vulnerabilities but also the organization's detection and response capabilities.

What is an Assumed Breach?

It is an exercise type in which the Red Team starts with initial access already established, simulating that the adversary is already inside. It makes it possible to assess lateral detection and containment capability.

What is TIBER-EU?

It is the European cyber resilience testing framework based on threat intelligence, designed for critical financial infrastructures.
