Google Search is the world's most widely used search engine, with image search functionalities that include redirects to external sites.
Description
The application takes a parameter and redirects the user to the parameter value without any validation. The unvalidated url parameter in the Google redirect mechanism could be exploited for phishing attacks or malware distribution.
Business impact
Users are exposed to malware infection, credential theft via phishing, and exposure of personally identifiable information through compromised interactions.
