Antecedentes
WebCollab is a collaborative website for project workgroups. It uses MySQL/PostgreSQL, PHP and Apache.
Description
The vulnerability involves an open redirect flaw where unvalidated user parameters allow attackers to inject HTTP headers via carriage return/line feed characters in the "item" parameter of /help/help_language.php.
Business impact
The HTML or JavaScript code provided by the attacker could be executed in the context of the affected site, potentially allowing for the theft of cookie-based authentication credentials and control over how the site is rendered.
