Within the framework of SIMO 2004, like Training Partners of the ISECOM and in name of Pete Herzog (Managing Director of the ISECOM), we presented the Security Certifications, OPST and OPSA.

This presentation was within the framework made of the round table "Professional Certifications of Security", where the benefits of the certifications of security of Microsoft and the independent certifications of manufacturer of greater recognition in Spain and the world as CISA, CISSP and OPST/A.

In the table they participated Jose Manuel Ballester (President of ISACA), Daniel Fernandez (founder of Internet Security Auditors, in representation of the ISECOM), Rafael Ausejo (Product Manager of Sentryware), Pablo Martín (Responsible Program for Partner for Solutions of Trainig, of Microsoft Iberia) and Javier Pagès (President of ISSA) like teacher of ceremonies.

Of the presented certifications most veteran is the one than he offers ISACA (Information Audit Systems and Association Control) like Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) with more than 20 years of history. CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) is the certification managed by (ISC)2 (International Information Systems Security Certification Corsortium) with one of the greater numbers of certified professionals, being more than 17,000 in more than 90 countries. The certifications of Microsoft and the ISECOM are youngest of the presented ones but they enjoy the great prestige within the certifications of Security already.

The security certifications are a guarantee of knowledge and professionalism in front of the clients, being a differentiating fact front to professionals without none of these certifications.

By fifth consecutive year, the Hackmeeting is celebrated, this time in the fantastic city of Seville, denominating as Hackandalus. To the event were had three rooms, in which of parallel and continuous form presentations and talks were offered them which they attended a multitude of people who came specifically from all parts of Spain.

Again, we could not fail to assist to this event whose objective includes the diffusion of the security within the hacktivist view, and this year, two members of Internet Security Auditors offered both presentations that turned on as different subjects as Web Applications Attack and Security as well as Computer Forensics.

Again, this year one of the independent congresses has been celebrated once again, trying to be a referrer in the spreading of the security in Spain. Although later from which it came being habitual, between days 9 and 12 of September the communications were carried out within the of the ParcBit in Palma de Mallorca.

In this third call conferences have treated from a technical level very elevated to oriented others more to the pure spreading of the security. We presented the problems of security of a technology as it is Voice over IP (VoIP) between a vision at high level and one at technical level demonstrating certain habitual attacks to these infrastructures.

What is really clear it is that the NcN has become an inescapable congress for us and to whom year after year thanks for its invitation and animated, to all that interested in the security, to attend.

The First congress of Security realized entirely in Andalusia was a success. Experts of the whole Spain we gave to ourselves appointment in a point of fantastic meeting since it is one of the villages with Internet in the streets using WiFi, La Campana, in Seville.

The treated topics were multiple, and in whole, 3 complete days of chats, presentations and debates on very unlike aspects of security: spam and SPF, WiFi and its security, consultancy and Open Source, Virus and its evolution, and other many topics between which we try to contribute our grain of sand offering a presentation on "Security in Voice on IP".

During the celebration of the Internet Global Congress (IGC) in Barcelona in the Palau of Congresses of the Fira of Barcelona, between the 10th and 14th of May, Internet Security Auditors will have the stand 33 in the Village IGC/INET 2004 where to be able to attend to all the visitors. The access to the Village is free for professionals presenting a company visit card.

All the visitors are invited to being present at our presentation "Security Audits: detect and correct the flaws of your Information Systems" that will carry out on the 11th of 12h to 13h in the room B, and on the 14th of 13h to 14h in the room A.

We will be present in the International Congress of Security WhiteHack 2004 that will be celebrated in Seville from May 28 to May 30, offering a presentation on Management of the Security in Convergent Networks on the 29th. The congress is orientated to professionals and experts in computer security, being the first congress of this type that is celebrated in Andalucía.

Internet Security Auditors has signed an agreement with the ISECOM to be able to offer courses of certification OSSTMM Professional Security Tester (OPST) and OSSTMM Professional Security Annalyst (OPSA). Provided that Internet Security Auditors goes three years using the methodology OSSTMM in its security audits, promoting also this manual there where we have the opportunity and collaborating with ISECOM for a lot of time in the OSSTMM, the Hacker Highschool and other projects, besides this form we will have the great opportunity to be able to form in the use of this methodology.

Last year, the committee of selection of papers of the IGC 2003, after crowded "Call for Papers" chose our presentation on "Security in New Technologies: Security in Wireless Networks 802.11", to take part in the congress, which year after year, is more popular and recognized.

This year, Internet Society (ISOC), the institution founded by the creative investigators of Internet for an igalitarian development of the Net, has decided to add its annual congress, one of the most prestigious of the world, to IGC's organization 2004. The joint celebration of both events will assemble to the international elite of Internet in Barcelona from May 10 to May 14 and will be converted into the most important appointment of 2004 for the sector. IGC/INET 2004 pretends to congregate in the "Palau de Congresos" of the "Fira de Barcelona" to more than 2.500 professionals proceeding from all 80 countries that count with associations affiliated to the ISOC, as well as leaders political and technological, expert in business and technology, strategists of the Society of the Information and great quantity of international specializing press. In whole, they will be more than 120 hours of conferences, constructed in four thematic areas: Managerial Strategies, Technology, Entertainment and Society. Besides, there has been introduced a fifth area dedicated to special meetings ("Special Requests"). The event will rely on the presence of recognized "Gurus" in the business and the technology and it will be as platform of analysis of new trends, practical cases and managerial experiences tied to the digital innovation.

Since could not be of another form, Internet Security Auditors wanted to return to take part in so important event celebrated in Barcelona. And the committee IGC/ISOC, has rewarded us with the selection of two of our papers presented to the "Call for Papers". One of them, again, to speak about "Security in New Technologies", in this case "Security in Voice over IP (VoIP)"; and besides, they have granted to us a special session ("Special Request") to our paper on " "Computer Forensics: recovery of the digital evidence".
