CISSP-ISSAP (CISSP Information Systems Security Architecture Professional)

Being the first Information Security Certification credited with the ANSI ISO recognition, the CISSP certification provides the professionals of the information security of an objective measurement of validity and recognized professionalism worldwide. The certification demonstrates a advanced knowledge inside 10 authorities of the (ISC)² CISSP CBK.

The (ISC)² official seminar CISSP-ISSAP® CBK is the preferred way to ensure competition in the six main domains of the concentration of Information Systems Security Architecture Professional (ISSAP). This concentration is essentially the process of consultation and analysis on information security.

Who should attend?

Technical staff and security consultants, security managers, networks or system administrators and in general everyone that wants to certify its knowledge in the security area.

Requirements

Two years minimum experience in the field of IT security architecture according to the requirements of (ISC)².

Hold valid CISSP grade.

Have acquired their skills in the 7 domains of Common Body of knowlegde (CBK).

Accept the ethical code (ISC)².

Contents

The aspects that must be mastered as one who seeks ISSAP certified covers what is known as the 7 domains of knowledge required by the (ISC)² to the candidate and are discussed in the course of preparation for the exam. These 7 domains are:

  1. Access control systems and methodology: Details the essential requirements for establishing restrictions of adequate access control efectivaspara organization. Protects access control systems, data, physical infrastructure and staff to maintain their integrity, availability and confidentiality.
  2. Cryptography: Requires the security professional knows the cryptographic methods and the use of cryptography to protect data storage and communications organization to avoid the risk and abuse.
  3. Integration of Physical Security: Recognizes the importance of physical security and personnel controls in a complete model of security of information systems.
  4. Analysis of requirements and standards, guidelines and security criteria: Provides care and attention to standards, recognition of threats and risk identification and information value.
  5. Planning for business continuity and technology related to disaster recovery planning: This involves the identification of adverse events that could threaten the ability of the organization to continue to perform their normal operations. Once identified, the security professional will implement response measures to reduce the risk of recurrence of the same incidents.
  6. Network Security and Telecommunications: Addresses the security problems related to the essential role of telecommunications and networks in distributed computing environments today. The security professional understands the risks of communications networks through data, voice and multimedia.

32 hours + 3 hours exam

  • Course: April, 23rd to 26th, 2012 (9:00 to 18:00).
  • Exam: May 5th, 2012.

The course is conducted in english.

The exam could be done in english (using bilingual dictionary).
